Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnæs of GiantMouse Knives have just brought to market a new edition of their ACE folding knives, the ACE Nazca. The ACE Nazca draws inspiration from the geoglyphs, the large illustrations on the landscape that are found in the desert regions of southern Peru in the territories of the Nazca people. But it also represents a break of the work that’s typical of Ansø and Vox’s blade designs. It is also the first GiantMouse design that sports a crossbar lock, a very quick and slick folding knife locking style first popularized by Bill McHenry and James Williams during the late 1990s in the Benchmade 710 folding knife, which they designed.

GiantMouse is offering two different versions, one with titanium grip panels and another with green canvas micarta panels. The latter is also a half ounce lighter than its titanium paneled brother. ACE Nazca knives feature a microclean, stainless steel, satin finished, modified spear point made from Böhler M390 steel. The ACE Nazca has a fully reversible wire clip that makes it easy to configure the knife for either left or right-handed carry. GiantMouse ACE Nazca knives are manufactured by Bestech Knives.
