We have always had a soft spot for the role and outliers of skateboarding, and in the past few weeks, we have received news about this person who calls himself Weckingball. As self-proclaimed "the world's most skateboarder", Weckingball is a super-sexy New Jersey man who talks about trash everywhere, from local kids to professional skaters and industry leaders IRL and everyone on the Internet. He may or may not be "tamed".
After watching his skating fitness equipment video and receiving enough DMs to pester us to do something around this guy, we decided to bite the bullet and meet the skater/WWF-style character himself.
Sure enough, with a gallon kettle and shower in his hand, Wake appeared in Manhattan, ready to skate and even fight when needed. Surprisingly, despite his great fun on the Internet, Wake is actually a very gentle guy, more considerate and friendly than you might think.
This is our time wandering in Lower Manhattan with the biggest skating troll. As one of our readers said, "If you are going on a freak show, at least you have to show all the freaks."
