Dusseldorf, Germany, November 24, 2021/PRNewswire/ - Fujifilm has launched ColoAssist PRO, a real-time endoscopic visualization system designed to help endoscopists perform colonoscopy.
ColoAssist PRO is the latest system of Fujifilm ELUXEO Ultra series technology. The real-time endoscope visualization system allows clinicians to visualize the configuration of the endoscope during the entire operation, and is designed to help healthcare professionals efficiently and accurately manipulate the colonoscope in the patient.
ColoAssist PRO uses AI technology CAD EYE in combination with the existing ELUXEO platform and colon polyp detection and characterization capabilities to provide enhanced support for operators and provide endoscopists with Fujifilm's most powerful and comprehensive software package.

The endoscope visualization system uses the electromagnetic coil integrated in the Transceiver Dish to generate an electromagnetic field, which is received by the coil integrated in the dedicated colonoscope and Hand Marker. The electromagnetic field is used to determine the position of the endoscope coil in the patient's body, and then to reproduce the graphic model of the endoscope next to the doctor's endoscope view.
The new interface of ColoAssist PRO is user-friendly. With its image centering function, endoscopists can perform operations without ignoring the position of the graphical endoscope.
