You might be struggling to think of any Disney Characters that begin with W. But in fact, there are over 40 of them.

You’ll probably even see some of these on your Disney cruise. Meeting Woody from Toy Story was certainly one of the highlights of my vacation! I’ve never seen Wall-E on a Disney ship, but he’s one of my favourites too.

So, read on for a complete list of all of the Disney characters names that start with the letter W…

Wahn is a minor Disney character that starts with W in the 2021 animated feature film, Raya and the Last Dragon. He’s a soldier in Fang’s army and only speaks when he questions Namaari while hunting Raya in Tail. Namaari attacks him for suggesting that they return to Fang since Raya is probably turned to stone.

Mr. Wallace Wesley is a major character in Disney’s 2004 animated feature film, Home on the Range. Wesley is a businessman who works on the black market selling stolen cattle. He wears a purple tuxedo and a purple hat. 

WALL- E is the titular character from the 2008 Disney/Pixar animated movie. He is a waste-collecting robot created by the Buy n Large corporation to move the garbage plaguing Earth in the future. Year of loneliness and never-ending work allowed him to gain consciousness and a dream of getting more from life. 

The Walrus is a minor character beginng with W in Disney’s 1951 animated feature film, Alice in Wonderland. The Walrus is an obese figure with light brown skin and thick mustache, he is a jobless traveler whose story is told to Alice by Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

The Wardrobe is a supporting character in Disney’s 1991 animated movie, Beauty and the Beast. She was once the castle’s lady-in-waiting (and a former opera singer) but has been cursed by the Enchantress and transformed into a sentient wardrobe.

Wasabi is a major Disney character that starts with W in the animated movie Big Hero 6. He is one of a group of young superheroes in a team called Big Hero 6. He is super smart and an expert in martial arts which he amplifies with plasma blade weapons. 

Waylon is a hound dog who appears in The Fox and the Hound 2. Waylon is a member of the Singin’ Strays and is the twin brother of Floyd. They look almost identical except that Waylon has a red collar while Floyds is green. He is voiced by Jim Cummings.

Webby Vanderquack is a major Disney character beginning with the letter W who appears in the DuckTales series. Webby is the granddaughter of Bentina Beakley who is Scrooge’s maid cook, and the nephews’ nanny. Both have been adopted into the Duck’s extended family, and Webby is asked to call him “Uncle Scrooge” even though they’re not related.

Webster is the castle’s writer, who was transformed into a dictionary and is one of Beast’s servants in Belle’s Magical World, the third film in the Beauty and the Beast franchise. He means well but has a long tongue and is disliked by the other servants. The Beast strikes him when he offers unwanted synonyms for Belle’s insults.

Wee Dingwall is a minor Disney Pixar character beginning with W who appears in the 2012 movie Brave. He is the son of Lord Dingwall and one of the suitors trying to impress Princess Merida and win her hand in marriage.

Weird Girl appears in Tim Burton’s 2012 movie Frankenweenie. She is a 12 year old girl who is in a school class with Victor Frankenstein. She is well known for her eerie gaze, and strange personality. 

Wendy Darling is a major character in Disney’s 1953 animated classic, Peter Pan. She is a young girl who lives in London and is whisked away one night by Peter Pan and taken to the isle of Neverland.  

Whale is a supporting character in the 2003 Disney Pixar movie, Finding Nemo. He is an enormous blue whale met by Marlin and Dory while they attempt to find Nemo. He only speaks whale, but luckily so does Dory.

Wheezy appears in Disney/Pixar’s 1999 animated film, Toy Story 2. Wheezy is a squeaky toy penguin who ends up in a yard sale. Woody goes on a mission to save him but ends up being stolen by Al.

The White Rabbit is a major character from Disney’s 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland. He serves as the Queen of Hearts’s royal herald, and speaks the famous line “I’m late! I’m late for a very important date! No time to say “Hello”, goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”.

Whizzer is one of Pongo and Perdita’s puppies in the animate movie 101 Dalmatians (1961).Whizzer has a very weak bladder that leads him to suffer from frequent accidents throughout the film and its sequels.  

The Wide Chick Pitty appears as one of the five pitties working for Chick Hicks in the movie Cars. As one of Chick’s pitties Wide Chick is obliged to wear a mustache and laugh very loudly at all of his boss’ jokes.

Widow Tweed is a major character in Disney’s 1981 animated feature film, The Fox and the Hound. She is a motherly figure known for her kindness and takes in the orphaned Tom and raises him.

Wiggins is a Disney character that starts with W who appears in the 1995 animated feature film, Pocahontas. He was Governor Ratcliffe’s manservant and generally followed the orders given to him, but he is not a bad or evil character, merely clueless. 

Wilbur is a supporting character in Disney’s 1990 sequel The Rescuers Down Under. He is the brother of Orville from the first film and has replaced him in running Albatross Airlines and he acts as transport to Bernard and Bianca despite the snowstorm.

Wilbur Robinson an important character in Disney’s 2007 animated feature film, Meet the Robinsons. He is the 13-year-old son of Franny and Lewis “Cornelius” Robinson. Wilbur usually moves quickly and when he time travels he uses stealth and takes on the fake persona of a “Time Continuum Task Force” officer.

Wilden Lightfoot is an elf who is a Disney Pixar character that starts with W in the movie, Onward. He is the father of Ian and Barley Lightfoot. He dies when his sons were very young but left them a staff and a spell he wrote to bring him back for a day when Ian turns 16 years old.

Wilhelmina Bertha Packard is a minor character who appears in Disney’s 2001 feature film Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Wilhelmina is an elderly woman who works as a sarcastic radio operator that spend her time chain smoking.

Willie the Giant is the main antagonist in Mickey and the Beanstalk, which is the second half of Disney’s 9th full-length animated feature film Fun and Fancy Free. Willie is a very childish character who loves toys and is not considered very bright due to his inability to pronounce certain words, like pistachio. 

Willie is an opera-singing sperm whale who appears in Disney’s 1946 short, The Whale Who Wanted To Sing At the Met, a segment of the 1946 animated feature, Make Mine Music. The Opera Director couldn’t believe that a whale could sing Opera so took a trio of tough sailors to look for the singers he thought Willie must have swallowed.

Winchell P. Bickerstaff is a Disney charater that starts with W in The Fox and the Hound 2. He is a talent scout who visits the country fair to find some talented performers for the Grand Ole Opry. 

Wind Titan is also known as Stratos and is one of the fictional Titans and one of the supporting antagonists from Disney’s Hercules. He is a Titan that has the look of an anthropomorphic tornado with red eyes and a red mouth. He was voiced by Corey Burton.

Windgust is a character in the underated animated movie The Good Dinosaur. He is a Guidraco and a member of Thunderclap’s gang who attack Arlo and Spot from the sky. He ends up falling into the river and is carried away helplessly downstream. 

Windlifter is a heavy-lift helicopter who appeared in Planes: Fire & Rescue. He is a member of Piston Peak Air Attack team and able to carry dozens of trees or huge trucks. He has great wisdom and knows alot of fire folklore and can sense fires before they’re even spotted.

Windstar  appears in Disney Pixar’s 2020 animated feature film, Soul. Windstar is one of three mystics (along with Dancerstar, and Dreamerwind) who encounter Joe Gardner and 22 in the Astral Plane area, accompanied by Moonwind.

Winford Bradford Rutherford is a racing car that raced for the RPM team in the Piston Cup Racing Series in the animated movie Cars. He is a Capitol Motors Verve XT, painted yellow, with the RPM logo on his hood and the number 64 on his doors.

Wingo is a recurring character in the Cars franchise who is a member of the Delinquent Road Hazards. Although he could be seen as an antagonist in most instalments of the series, he has helped Lightning McQueen on occasion. 

Winifred is an Indian elephant who is the wife of Colonel Hathi in Disney’s 1967 film The Jungle Book. She is snarky and sarcastic often reminding Hathi of his faults but is caring towards others and helps instigate the search for Mowgli the man-cub. 

Winnie is a Disney character that starts with W and is the loving companion to Harvey in the 2014 Disneytoon Studios animated feature film, Planes: Fire & Rescue. Together they travel to Piston Peak Park 50 years after they honeymooned there. 

One of the best-known and best-loved of all the Disney characters beginning with W is Winnie the Pooh (or Pooh for short). He is a honey-loving teddy bear that belongs to Christopher Robin and goes on many adventures with his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Winston is the Foxworth family’s butler in Disney’s Oliver & Company. He is in charge of Jenny while her parents are away and is the caretaker to Oliver and George. He was voiced by William Glover.

Winston Deavor is the head of a world-class telecommunications company and a major character in the 2018 Disney/Pixar animated film Incredibles 2. He is a brilliant businessman but is quite down to earth. He hopes to bring the supers back from banishment. 

The Witch is a mysterious elderly lady who lives deep in the overgrown forest as a woodcarver. She has magical powers but people are afraid of her. She is a minor supporting character in the 2012 Disney/Pixar animated film, Brave. 

The Wolf is a dangerous but unlucky character who meets Wart in the forest in Disney’s 1963 feature film The Sword in the Stone. He tries to catch the boy several times but never succeeds in eating him.  

Sheriff Woody is the familiar lead character in the Toy Story movies. He is a vintage pull-string cowboy doll who is Andy’s favourite toy until the arrival of Buzz Lightyear one birthday. Although initially he feels threatened by the arrival of Buzz they become friends and share many adventures. 

Woody is a woodie wagon that was the favouite in Andy’s garage until the arrival of Buzz. This is Woody the cowboy from Toy Story in Cars form. He appears in Toy Car Story which is a great parody of the Toy Story movies. 

Woolter is a Disney character that starts with W in Disney’s 2016 animated feature film Zootopia. He is a large ram who is one of Bellwether’s minions. Woolter and his partner Jessie are a nod toward the lead characters in Breaking Bad. 

Wreck-It Ralph is the titular protagonist of Disney’s 2012 animated feature film its 2018 sequel. After 30 years as a wrecker in his own game, and feeling he lacks recognition for his efforts, he embarks on a game jumping adventure across Litwak’s Arcade. 

Wynnchel is a minor antagonist in Disney’s 2012 animated feature film Wreck-It Ralph. He is a doughnut security officer that served as King Candy’s henchmen (alongside Duncan) during his reign over Sugar Rush. They are both pretty incompetent and often fail the tasks asked of them.
